Welcome to the site of NZ artist Amber Emm.
The main inspirations for my art has been boats, the seaside and the coastal fauna and flora of New Zealand.In the last year I have turned my attention to the Garden and have rediscovered a driving passion to recreate the pockets of beauty which are in our own backyards. I love contrast and detail and by eliminating the background and surounding areas I find I can acheive the desired focuse I want you to notice.

SOLO EXHIBITION "FLEURTATIOUS" 9TH -30 JUNE
MONTEREY GALLERY, 5 COOK ST,HOWICK

For the first 5 months of 2011 I worked solidly on creating a body of work for my solo exhibition at Monterey Gallery on the 9th June.
These works were a labour of love, trying to recreate pockets of floral beauty,for you to enjoy the outside in.
Thanks to everyone who came along and shared my exhibition with me it was a great success.
